Il est maintenant possible d'installer iOS 7 sans avoir son iPhone enregistré avec un compte développeur..

Nous avons été les premiers alertés par un de nos lecteurs, Will Peterson, qui a réussi à l'installer sur 2 iPhone 5.
Nous l'avons testé et nous confirmons que cela fonctionne également sur l'iPhone 4S et l'iPhone 5.

Pour l'installer, vous devez vous procurer le fichier ipsw iOS 7, laisser la touche Option enfoncée (Shift pour Windows) et cliquer sur Mettre à jour avec iTunes. Sélectionner ensuite le fichier ipsw de l'iOS 7 dans la fenêtre qui s'affiche pour l'installer.


Le fait que cela fonctionne n'est pas très clair. Seulement les iPhones enregistrés par les développeurs sont supposés être capable d'installer un firmware "Beta". Apple a peut-être enlever la vérification depuis que ses serveurs soient submergés.

Attention:
- Ne le faites pas si vous voulez garder votre jailbreak. Vous ne pourrez pas le récupérer.
- ne le faites pas si vous avez besoin d'Hacktiver l'iPhone. Vous ne pourrez plus l'Hacktiver.
- Ne le faites pas si vous voulez repasser en iOS 6. Vous ne pourrez pas. Mise à jour: Nous avons essayé et cela a fonctionné!

Notes:
- Vous DEVEZ utiliser le bouton Mettre à jour et NON le bouton Restaurer
- Les utilisateurs ont signalé des meilleurs résultats suite à une mise à jour depuis l'iOS 6.1.3, plutôt que depuis des versions plus anciennes.
- Assurez-vous que votre appareil est activé avant de cliquer sur Mettre à jour

I bought this phone from somebody, after i restored it....it is stuck on the activation screen and asking for the other person's apple id. I lost the number for the other guy whom i bought it from....but this phone is not stolen or lost...phone has clean IMEI.

If I have the iOS 7 now, when the official update comes out, will I be able to update it to whatever comes out or will it mess up my phone? I believe I have the iOS 7 Beta 5 right now and haven't updated it to the current one so if I wait till the 18th is it going to totally screw up my phone?

I put my iPad 2 (6.1) into DFU mode, restore with option+cmd and it worked first try.

i have updated my iphone 4s right from my phone on the last two betas with no problems at all. im not a developer, and i havent bought into buying one either. just so people know it can be done with no problems.

one quick question was looking in to buying a subscription for the $99 from apple but website is down. have already updated to IOS 7 the free way to see if i like the software before buying. How long do you believe it will take before apple is up and running again??
