Pod2g ogłosił, że udało mu się uzyskać untethered jailbreak iPhone'a 4 z systemem iOS 5.1.

Jak dotąd taka operacja udała się trzem grupom:
iOS 5.1: I0n1c, the iPhone Dev-Team, and Chpwn/Phoenixdev.

Jednak jedyny jailbreak bez smyczy to ten autorstwa I0n1c, który ogłosił, że nie zamierza ujawniać go publicznie.

Na szczęście dla ajfonowiczów pod2g ogłosił, że jemu również udała się ta sztuka.

To ważny krok na drodze do opublikowania jailbreaka dla systemu iOS 5.1. W zeszły poniedziałek pod2g opublikował informację o dwóch sporych lukach, jednej w jądrze i jednej w roocie. Wygląda na to, że prace postępują.

check google for those instructions. so long as you have your SHSH you're good. and for the love of god if you want to be jailbroken do NOT update right away.

I bought my iPad2 and it was already upgraded to iOS5.1... I used TinyUmbrella to save SHSH blobs and all I got were the blobs for iOS5.0.1.... I googled for instructions for days now, but they all confirm it was impossible to downgrade the iPad2 from iOS5.1 to iOS5.0.1... Please if you have a link that can help me post it here.. Thanks a lot.
