Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook and other technology companies have written an open letter opposing a controversial encryption bill put forward by Senators Richard Burr (R-NC) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
Apple has filed a reply brief to the Department of Justice's opposition of its motion to vacate an order that would force the company to build a backdoor into the iPhone.
Google, Facebook and Microsoft will reportedly file joint court motions that support Apple's fight against the FBI. Several other tech companies including Amazon, Twitter, and Box plan to file separate motions that support Apple as well.
Apple's next-generation Apple TV will likely feature an A8 Chip, the same ports as the current model, a black-metal remote, and up to 16GB of storage. Unfortunately, the device will not support 4K video streaming.
