Replit has pushed its first iOS app update in four months after resolving an App Store review dispute with Apple. The release brings the company's latest artificial intelligence features to the iPhone following a lengthy approval delay.
CEO Amjad Masad confirmed the approval on X, thanking customers and creators for their support. Earlier this month, Masad said he was willing to take Apple to court over the delay. He disputed Apple's claim that Replit violated App Store rules related to executable code, calling the justification a "total lie."
With the issue resolved, the new App Store release introduces Agent 4 to mobile users. Replit describes it as its most versatile agent yet. The update adds support for parallel agents and lets users create everything from web apps to videos and documents directly from an iPhone. Version 2.185.0 also introduces merge flows for team collaboration and improved project viewing across workspaces.
The return of Replit's mobile app comes as Apple prepares to host its Worldwide Developers Conference in a few weeks, where the company is expected to outline broader artificial intelligence initiatives for developers.
