Third-party accessory maker iFunSmart has prematurely listed protective cases for Apple's upcoming foldable iPhone, offering another look at the hardware design ahead of its expected fall launch.
The listings reveal several clear and matte cases designed specifically for the folding form factor. Renderings on the manufacturer's website show a two-piece snap-on shell designed around a horizontal rear camera module. This module houses just two lenses, aligning with leaked dummy units that suggested Apple will skip the third telephoto camera found on its Pro models to save internal space.
Cutouts along the right edge of the case make room for volume keys, a Camera Control button, and a power button that is widely expected to feature a side-mounted Touch ID sensor. The renderings do not appear to show a dedicated opening for an Action Button. The smooth left spine is consistent with earlier design leaks pointing to a chassis that moves all physical inputs to one side, avoiding complex wiring across the central hinge.
The product pages market the accessories under the "iPhone Ultra" and "iPhone 18 Ultra" names. This adds to speculation that Apple could position the device at the top of its lineup with Ultra branding. Marketing images for the cases also prominently highlight a MagSafe-style magnetic ring on the rear panel, suggesting compatibility with Apple's existing ecosystem of magnetic chargers and accessories.
Accessory manufacturers frequently base early production runs on leaked CAD files to ensure inventory is ready on launch day. Apple is slated to announce its first foldable smartphone alongside the iPhone 18 Pro later this year.
