Apple TV Leads Creative Arts Emmys With Record 20 Wins

Apple TV led all networks across the first two nights of the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, collecting a company-record 20 wins. Widow's Bay earned eight awards, the most of any program.



The comedy's wins included Outstanding Guest Actress for Betty Gilpin, as well as awards for production design, casting, cinematography, original dramatic score, music supervision, sound editing, and sound mixing. Widow's Bay remains in contention for Outstanding Comedy Series, with additional nominations for Matthew Rhys, Kate O'Flynn, Dale Dickey, Stephen Root, writer Katie Dippold, and director Hiro Murai.


Pluribus won four awards: production design for a contemporary one-hour program, picture editing for a drama, original main title theme music, and sound mixing for a one-hour comedy or drama. The series is also nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, with acting nominations for Rhea Seehorn, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, and Karolina Wydra, plus writing and directing nominations for creator Vince Gilligan.

Three awards went to Margo's Got Money Troubles for contemporary costumes, hairstyling, and non-prosthetic makeup. Palm Royale also collected three, winning for scripted choreography, period costumes, and period or fantasy/sci-fi non-prosthetic makeup.

The 20-win total includes two awards from the first night: Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series for Mr. Scorsese and Outstanding Commercial for I'm Not Remarkable.

Apple entered this year's Emmys with a company-record 89 nominations across 15 programs. Its remaining top-category nominees include Widow's Bay, Shrinking, and Margo's Got Money Troubles for Outstanding Comedy Series, along with Pluribus, Slow Horses, and Your Friends & Neighbors for Outstanding Drama Series. The Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled for September 14, 2026.
