iPhone and iPod touch owners are again suffering from Daylight Saving Time problems which this time cause devices to show the wrong time.
Our devices initially sprang forward to the correct time; however, have since reverted back to the previous time leaving our phones one hour behind the real time.
The only way to fix the issue for the time being is to turn off the 'Set Automatically' option in Settings (General: Date & Time).
Apple Discussion forum members are reported other strange activity including devices that have moved time ahead despite not being in a DST area.
"My iPhone 4 had the wrong time this morning - in Phoenix," reports user M Gnu, "We don't do DST, but iPhone apparently thinks otherwise."
Apple has yet to comment in this regard. Last year iDevices suffered from an issue with repeating alarms after the daylight saving time change.
Here in california I had no problems either. It's showing proper time all day. iOS 4.1 still. iphone 4
That should be something people post as well their iOS version number.
I live in Phoenix and my iPhone also advanced an hour. It was set to auto adjust. I changed it to Phoenix time zone and it corrected the time, but now I have to worry again if the repeat alarm is going to work. Ha! The most advanced phone and os, and they cant get the clock feature right? WTF.
