Pod2g has announced that the untethered jailbreak of iOS 5.1.1 is just days away from release.
Thanks to awesome work of @planetbeing and @pimskeks, we're near ready for a release. Now it's a matter of days.
Here is the list of devices that are known to work for sure: ● iPhone 3Gs ● iPhone 4 ● iPhone 4 CDMA ● iPhone 4S ● iPad 1 ● iPad 2 Wifi ● iPad 2 GSM ● iPad 2 CDMA ● iPad 3 Wifi ● iPad 3 CDMA ● iPod 3G ● iPod 4G
Here is the list of devices that won't be supported: ● AppleTV 3
Remains to test (but that should work): ● iPad 2 Wifi, R2 ● iPad 3 Global ● AppleTV 2

Can't get it to work on ipad 2 r2 wifi. Start jailbreak is greyed out and won't allow me to select it. Will this be fixed in the future?

What does mean iPad3 Global ??? I have iPad 3 unlocked and it works with any provider's SIM card.. So is it global or not?

Hi i have gotten my phone unlocked via atnt and their unlocks for out of contract. can i still jailbreak or will i lose my unlock?

Hey Bro! i think may be yes and i am sure about this 5.1.. but once pod2g releases then you upgraded to 5.1.1 and do a untethered. because this 5.1.1 has tremendous improvement in your Battery management this what pod2g previous tweeted

EVERYONE who is willing to use this JB, and will use this JB, MUST donate... at least 2usd.... this guys deserve it. We should encourage and support them to continue this hard work (as a community of end users), and not let them become like f***ing i0nic.

My ipad 3 is wifi+4g from bought localy in Portugal, what device is from the list, dont tell me that it is the ipad3 global :(

It probably is the global but it should work with the jailbreak. He probably doesn't Have a device himself to test on is all. Someone in the dev team will have access to one eventually and it'll likely work. No reason for it not too.
the only thing confirmed not working with this jailbreak is the newest apple tv.
