Apple CEO Tim Cook reportedly met with Beats CEO Jimmy lovine late last month to learn more about the company's 'Project Daisy' music subscription service, reports Reuters.
Apple Inc has held talks with Beats Electronics LLC, the audio technology firm co-founded by influential hip-hop producer Dr Dre and music mogul Jimmy Iovine, on a potential partnership involving Beats' planned music-streaming service, three people familiar with the situation told Reuters.
Eddy Cue, Apple's Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, was also at the meeting.
Cook is said to have expressed interest in Daisy's business model and rollout plans but specifics of a deal were not discussed. The meeting was said to be "informational" and covered a broad range of music-related topics, according to a Reuters source.
uhhmm?? ..could it be a wireless HD Beats earphones or headphones ( future installed-transmitters on iDevices) ..OR a more crisp signal / high-definition audio availability for bluetooth? ..maybe?? .."Hey MOM Look no wires, no hands, no signal cut-offs, but great streaming HD sound" ...
