Holy shit, it is going to be weird using something like Yahoo!, AIM, or ICQ again, haha. Goodbye MSN, and good riddance Skype. Now to decide which of its competition I would rather use :)

Skype is going downhill when micro$h*t took over it, why must they screw it up? Give it another year and service will truly suck. Good riddance.

Terrible experience so far. Half the time messenger contacts don't appear and they cannot see me. Microsoft needs to get their shit together before forcing stuff.

It would be OK if they would fix the glaring GREAT BIG BUG in the recent Skype versions preventing use of firewire DV cameras. They have known about this bug for weeks but nothing has been done.
