Apple has seeded the third developer betas of watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and tvOS 27, continuing testing of its next-generation operating systems ahead of their release this fall.
The new test builds arrive two weeks after Apple rolled out the second round of developer betas. Today's releases carry build numbers 24R5315i for watchOS, 24M5316k for visionOS, and 24J5315i for tvOS.
For Apple Watch users, this testing cycle introduces a dynamic app grid, a unified Find My app, and a new wrist-flick gesture for opening widgets from the Smart Stack. Apple also recently narrowed hardware compatibility for watchOS 27, dropping support for five older models to ensure they have enough processing power to support the new Siri AI capabilities.
On the headset side, visionOS 27 expands Apple Intelligence on Apple Vision Pro. The software features a 3D Siri visualization that can be placed anywhere in a user's physical space, along with Visual Intelligence capabilities that allow the assistant to understand both active app windows and the user's surroundings. Meanwhile, tvOS 27 adds a redesigned Podcasts app, a more responsive Control Center, larger text options, faster AirPlay performance, and other refinements.
Registered developers can download the new software over the air through the Software Update section in the Settings app on their respective devices. The watchOS update requires using the companion Watch app on a paired iPhone to initiate the installation.
