I won't buy iPhone anymore if the UI goes like this. This looks like a downgrade, mixed up with Android and Windows.

The interface is quite nice, but for my taste it is similar with Windows Phone or Windows UI. But I will still be happy if Apple give ability to change themes but still universal (not changing the function location), more like Windows Theme selector.

Please,whoever thought of this square tiles idea shut it down!in my suggestion,u should give a little curved edges look to the icons.otherwise why should one waste his money on iPhone and not get the cheaper Nokia lumia ?

This reeks of Android interfaces from all angles. Simplicity should be clever, not useless. This looks fine for some Android launcher though.

i think any change after 7 years with the iPhone is welcomed. i just hopped it would be a major one. Not just a minor color change...

Unlock screen from the top is a mistake. Every app icon looks too sharp like Android or Window OS. Added a little tiny round curve would be better and nicer!

Problem is they've gotten us all excited about a whole refreshed new look and this one doesnt really satisfy this objective. Sure it's flat now but it's still a bunch of icons on a home page. They need to allow more personal customization on home pages. That would give iPhones a more personal touch. No two iPhones will be the same.

The concept is good- but it makes two mistakes in my prediction. First is to square off the icons- the iOS trademark look is the square with round corners, so I doubt they would change that. Make them look flat, yes, but square? No. Secondly, I think they will introduce live tiles. The option to have certain app icons at 4x or 8x their normal size which still have the same look and feel, but are able to display simplified information. This is a much better application than widgets, and keeps a unified look. I would be very surprised if iOS has another 'dead' screen.
