According to Korean news site Digital Daily, (who has now pulled this story) Apple has linked up with LG to bring a flexible, plastic OLED display for the rumored iWatch product. The report claims that LG is the only provider of the 1.52-inch panels.
The report also claims that the smartwatch would be released sometime during the summer as it would enter mass-production in the third quarter of this year. Initial production is set at 2 million units.
Obviously there is no way to verify the authenticity of the report, and since the report has been pulled we are having our doubts. Apple's iWatch is rumored to be released sometime this year.

The story probably got pulled because it revealed something that was supposed to be kept secret.

Hope it will come with home control as rumored last year.
