Google Slashes Google Drive Pricing, Offers 100GB for $1.99/Month, 1TB for $9.99/Month

Google has just slashed pricing on its Google Drive storage solution, dropping the price of 100GB to $1.99/month and 1TB to $9.99/month.

We've lowered the price of our monthly storage plans to $1.99 for 100GB (previously $4.99), $9.99 for 1TB (previously $49.99), and $99.99 for 10TB, with even more storage available if you need it. How big is a terabyte anyway? Well, that’s enough storage for you to take a selfie twice a day for the next 200 years and still have room left over for… shall we say… less important things. Like before, storage continues to work across Drive, Gmail and Google+ Photos. And, of course, the 15GB plan remains free.

You can signup for Google Drive here.

Now it's better to talk about the other competitors than to stay here and wine about another 10 GB for free from the same provider. I mean the prices on Apple's Cloud storage is way more expensive than with any other online cloud storage services plus google Drive now is way less than half the price of any of the other cheapest services of the same thing. WTF. !!

Sorry, but they could offer me the moon and I wouldn't be interested. Google swamps me with enough unwanted ads, I really don't need them combing my every note, memo or creative exploration for more ways to sell me crap.

That's an amazing deal. But I have 25GB of free space after I downloaded QuickOffice. That gave me an additional 10GB free on top of my 15. then I deleted QuickOffice and I got to keep the extra GBs.

There was a promotion in 2013, in August, that installing it gave the additional 10GB. Sorry, I should have stated that the promotion is no longer occurring :$
