Speed Test: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge vs. iPhone 6s Plus [Video]

Earlier today we posted some benchmarks showing that the Snapdragon 820 processor found in the Samsung Galaxy S7 bested the Apple A9 processor found in the iPhone 6s. At that time we noted that despite the results the iPhone 6s Plus was likely to outperform or match the S7 Edge in real world usage.

Below are a couple speed tests comparing the two popular smartphones. Which do you think comes out on top?

LOL, an 8 core 4 gig phone is slower than a 2 core 2 gig IPhone. When the Android phone is used in real world, the processing builds up and it become even slower. Add the caching in the Ram and you have yourself a brick. Next please.

BWAHAHA of course this is a real world test. In fact, this is so real that no matter how good or bad screen displays are on either phones (despite iPhone using a less sharper display yet still looks just as good like any other phone out there since iPhone 5), but it all boils down to optimization and of course as someone already mentioned, Java required to run on android to go through that process to boot up games or whatever first, but either way, it can't compete!

It's a fact that no matter how strong the processor of an Android device is, it can never beat the iPhone in real world scenario. It is simply because Java needs virtual environment to run on. Android is based on Java. The processor might be fast but it has to go through the virtual layer first

but the samsung phone came out many months later, shouldn't it be compared to later on with the upcoming iPhone?

Ahahaha...You call this real world test xD. There are many human errors in this test. 1440 x 2560 pixels (2K -Samsung) vs 1080 x 1920 (Apple) of course the test score will be higher on the iPhone since they're using a shitty screen lower resolution since the iPhone 5. S7 rendered the game at 2k which is more pixel to push 1080p. These are the TOP-10 Performance Smartphone Chips, As Rated by AnTuTu. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 -NO 1 (which is used in the Galaxy S7) Check out Geekbench 3, Samsung Galaxy S7 (Exynos variant) beats Apple iPhone 6s. Samsung beat the iPhone 6S except for when it came to Game launching, Apple has done an amazing job at managing games and speed, fingerprint speed doesn't really matter imo because animations can slow it down and things like that as we have seen with the Nexus 6P beating the iPhone 6S fingerprint sensor
