Microsoft has unveiled the 'Fluent Design System', a new design system which will shape the look and feel of Microsoft software moving forward.

Microsoft Fluent Design System will deliver intuitive, harmonious, responsive and inclusive cross-device experiences and interactions. For developers, Fluent Design is built to help users create more expressive and engaging apps that work across a wide range of device and input diversity.

I remember when material design came out. As a mac fan I was honestly blown away by the level of thinking that went into every aspect of the whole concept. Even if you didn't like the design language you couldn't but respect how cohesive interesting and mature everything felt. Now what in the name of god is all this? A bunch of videos and pretty 3d bouncing around with no apparent reason? By the presentation frame I was getting myself ready for a treat. This is just lame, nonsensical and says nothing.
