Friends Journey to Recreate macOS Catalina Wallpaper [Video]

Following the launch of macOS Catalina, friends Andrew Levitt, Jacob Phillips, and Taylor Gray set out to reproduce the operating system's new default wallpaper. Earlier this year they recreated all the wallpapers from previous versions of macOS.

A couple months ago my friends and I recreated every default Apple wallpaper on a one week road trip. Shortly after, Apple released its new computer operating system, macOS Catalina, which meant there was a new photo to recreate! Apple’s seventh California location themed wallpaper on Catalina Island was not easy to capture. We had to backpack / hike out to the most remote part of the island to launch a drone and hope that we could get the shot!

Take a look at their journey below!

Their last video was a giant waste of time and I’m not watching this one either. Just a bunch of pricks in it for the money and ignoring state park rules and regulations. Endangering wildlife by not staying on path then doing something even dumber and promoting an illegal night hike on their video. Nice cop but privileged kids. All to recreate something someone already did and Apple did it better than their illegal attention seeking expedition. Imbeciles... SMH
