Apple has introduced a new toggle in iOS 13.3.1 beta 2 to disable Location for Networking & Wireless.

Late last year, Krebs noticed that the iPhone 11 Pro appeared to be accessing a user's location even when each app and system service is set to 'never' request location information. At the time, Apple told Krebs it was 'expected behavior' but later clarified that location was being used to disable ultra-wideband in prohibited locations. The company then promised to introduce a toggle in a future update to address the issue.

Twitter user Brandon Butch spotted the new toggle earlier today:

So iOS 13.3.1 beta 2 does have a new toggle to disable Ultra Wideband.

You can find the toggle under Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Networking & Wireless.

The toggle alert reads:

Turning off location for networking and wireless may affect Bluetooth, Wi-Fi-, and Ultra Wideband performance.
