C-SPAN iPhone App Uses Safari to Stream Music in the Background

C-SPAN has released an update to their iPhone application which enables background audio streaming via Mobile Safari.

The C-SPAN Radio app delivers 3 audio streams of commercial-free public affairs programming (C-SPAN Radio, C-SPAN and C-SPAN2) and audio podcasts of some of our regularly scheduled programs around the clock, wherever you are.

What's New In This Version:
- Background play uses Mobile Safari to play the station's stream so you can use other apps at the same. The current stream will be loaded.
