Atinco America has announced the release of Domino Touch HD 1.1, an update to their classic dominoes game exclusively for the iPad. Featuring detailed, high definition graphics, Domino Touch HD is an iPad-only version of their best-selling Domino Touch for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game supports play against 1 - 3 virtual players whose tiles are hidden. Graphical refinements include animated dealing of tiles, marble tiles with inlaid pips, green felt domino table, and autorotation. Other gameplay refinements are sound effects, automatic scoring at the end of each round, score displays for each player, and game limits of 100, 250 or 500 points.

Popular throughout the world, and especially in Latin America, dominoes is played at the professional level in official tournaments and championship matches. Dominoes is a blocking game, where the goal is to play as many tiles as possible while preventing opponents from playing their tiles. Domino Touch HD was one of the apps available at the launch of the App Store for the iPad, and was completely redesigned from Domino Touch for the new device. The domino table is covered in textured, green felt as used in tournament play, the total value of individual tiles is displayed on mahogany chips with white numbers, and each player has a digital display of their score.
