Apple Adds New 'Shadow', 'Halo', and 'Dusk' Wallpapers in iOS 26 Beta 3 [Download]

Apple has seeded the third beta of iOS 26 to developers, and with it comes a notable visual update. The release introduces three new color variations for the system's official 'Liquid Glass' wallpaper.

These additions expand upon the original 'Sky' theme that launched with the first iOS 26 beta. The new colorways, are officially named Shadow, Halo, and Dusk.


The expanded iOS 26 wallpaper collection, now including Shadow, Halo, and Dusk.


Each new theme offers a distinct palette:
● Shadow: Features a sophisticated palette of deep indigo and muted aqua-green, set against a dark, contrasting background.
● Halo: A brighter theme that combines a light, airy violet-blue with a clean mint green for a high-contrast look.
● Dusk: A warm composition of soft pinks and rich purples, designed to evoke the colors of a sunset.

Consistent with the initial release, each colorway is available in four distinct versions: Light and Dark modes for the Home Screen, as well as slightly altered Light and Dark modes optimized for Lock Screen legibility. This update brings the total number of official iOS 26 wallpapers to sixteen.
