Apple Releases macOS Tahoe 26.1 Beta 3 to Developers [Download]

Apple has released the third beta of macOS Tahoe 26.1 to developers for testing. The build number for this beta is 25B5062e.

The update includes bug fixes and performance improvements following the major release of macOS Tahoe. The update may also prepare for some of the more advanced Apple Intelligence features that were not available at launch.

macOS Tahoe 26 was a significant update, introducing a universal design language called 'Liquid Glass,' a new Phone app, and an overhauled Spotlight search. You can find a complete list of changes in the official macOS Tahoe 26 release notes.


Developers with an Apple Silicon Mac can download the macOS restore image from the link below. Or, for devices running macOS 13.4 Ventura or later, go to System Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and choose the macOS Tahoe Developer Beta to install this software.
