Apple Releases tvOS 26.1 for Apple TV [Download]

Apple has officially released tvOS 26.1 for the Apple TV.

The update appears to be a maintenance release focused on under-the-hood improvements, but we'll share Apple's release notes shortly. No major new features were spotted during the beta cycle, including in the final Release Candidate.


The tvOS 26 software update brought the new 'Liquid Glass' design to the big screen, along with functional enhancements to Apple Music Sing and FaceTime.
