Dette er instruksjoner til hvordan du jailbreaker din iPhone 3G med 3.0 iPhone firmware ved bruk av RedSn0w for Windows. Mac versjonen av denne veiledningen finner du her. 2G versjonen av denne veiledningen finnes her

Denne veiledningen kan benyttes til å jailbreake før man legger til UltraSn0w unlock. UltraSn0w er ikke tilgjengelig ennå. Den vil derimot komme snart. Dette betyr at om du trenger opplåsning/unlock umiddelbart, bør du nok vente med å jailbreake frem til UltraSn0w er tilgjengelig.

Trinn En
Lag en mappe på skrivebordet ditt som du kaller Pwnage

Last ned RedSn0w fra her eller her og lagre det i Pwnage mappen. Samtidig, last ned siste 3.0 firmware fra link under og lagre i samme mappen.

3.0.0 (3G): iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Pakk ut RedSn0w zip filen til Pwnage mappen.

Trinn To
Koble din iPhone til datamaskinen og start iTunes.

Velg din iPhone fra listen over tilkoplede enheter i menyen til venstre. Hold så inn shift og trykk Gjenopprett knappen. Gjeonpprett foretrekkes, da den ikke vil skape unødig tom plass på din iPhone.

Naviger til Pwnage mappen på skrivebordet ditt og velg firmware ipsw. Klikk Åpne knappen for å fortsette.

Trinn Tre
Straks iTunes er ferdig å oppdatere din iPhone til ønsket firmware, kan du starte redsnw0w.exe fra Pwnage mappen på ditt skrivebord.

Trinn Fire
Straks RedSn0w startes, trykk Browse knappen

Trinn Fem
Velg firmware ipsw som vi la inn i Pwnage mappen på vårt skrivebord, så trykk Open

Trinn Seks
Så snart firmwaren har blitt verifisert, trykk Next knappen for å fortsette.

Trinn Syv
Forsikre deg om at Cydia er valgt og trykk Next knappen.

Trinn Åtte
Vennligst kople iPhonen til datamaskinen og forsikre deg om at den er skrudd AV, så trykk Next knappen

Trinn Ni
RedSn0w vil nå veilede deg gjennom resten av trinene for å komme til DFU modus.

Hold inn både Hjem knappen og Slå På knappen i 10 sekunder.

Slipp Slå På knappen og fortsette å holde inne Hjem knappen inntil RedSn0w oppdager enheten.

Trinn Ti
Telefonen din vil nå restarte seg

Trinn Elleve
RedSn0w vil så starte å laste opp den nye RAM disken.

Trinn Tolv
Så snart denne prosessen er ferdig, vil du få beskjed om at RedSn0w er ferdig. Trykk Finish knappen.
Når din iPhone er ferdig med å restarte (ca 5 minutter), vil den være jailbreaket med Cydia på SpringBoardet ditt.

Hi, I have an iphone 3gs , with 3.1 version & 05.11.07 firmware. Already JB+UL using Cydia/blackra1n . So my question is I want to update to 3.1.3 , will this tutorial work for me , as nowhere mentioned 3Gs here ?

I just got an iphone, and i updated it on itunes, now it says that its version 4,, i thni the firmware is 4,, so when I tried to restore this one here, it didnt work, its say it not compatible.. what should I do , please help :(

WHen i download the curent restore it does come in a cube like the picture but zip books and everytime I try to extract it to my desktop or to my pwnage folder I cant get it to open or what ever I need to do please hellppp!!!!

After pressing save as, Change the file type (lowest box in window) to all files from.zip. It will then save as you need it. N.B. Ensure the file name ends .ipsw If not manually type it in before saving.

Hi All, I managed to jailbreak my iphone 3g on 3.0 However, when I try opening cydia, it says "loading data" and then automatically crashes" I have jailbreaked many times but no luck. I used the files in the post above but still not working. I have also tried setting the iphone as a new phone in itunes but not working. any ideas???

Turn on your wifi, connect to a wifi , than try cydia..

OMG! I finally got to see the video. It kewrod perfectly on my home computer. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! And the music was SO PERFECT only you could make me happy, only you could make me smile. Hi When you choose "iPhone1,2_3.0.1_7A400_Restore.ipsw" in redsn0w and you get the error message "Unable to recognize specified IPSW" choose "iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw" instead and it should work. If redsn0w 0.8 crashes in Vista when you try to jailbreak then right click on redsnow 0.8.exe and go to properties and in there go to compatibility there set it to "windows xp service pack 2" and then go down and check the "run as administrator" Run the process again and it should work. It worked it for me Hope this to some help.

i suggest not updating the carrier settings after the jailbreak. I launched itunes and it prompted me to update the carrier settings i did it and I couldn't connect to the network overseas anymore so i have to restore the software with itunes and the backup which took another hour or more.

hy im using iphone bg i hav updated to 3.0 using windows(redsn0w) everything has been done well(AS PER ICLARIFIED STATED) but i cant find network signals and no CARRIER option in SETTING menu. plz help me its d second tym m facing the same problem plz reply Y A N K (9987649785)
