Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 and macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, delivering important security updates for Mac users who have not yet upgraded to macOS Tahoe.
These maintenance releases arrive alongside today's public launch of macOS Tahoe 26.3. While they do not introduce new features, they provide critical patches to fix vulnerabilities in the operating system. Apple recommends all users on these older versions install the updates to ensure their devices remain secure.
The build number for macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 is 24G517, and the build number for macOS Sonoma 14.8.4 is 23J319.
