Apple Seeds Third Betas of watchOS 26.4 and visionOS 26.4 to Developers [Download]

Apple has seeded the third developer betas of watchOS 26.4 and visionOS 26.4 for testing. The software arrives alongside the latest test builds of iOS and iPadOS.



The build numbers for today's releases are 23T5226e for watchOS and 23O5225f for visionOS.


In earlier 26.4 betas, visionOS gained backend support for the new HLS video podcasts format, enabling adaptive streaming and dynamic ad insertion in the Apple Podcasts app.

The watchOS 26.4 beta cycle has not revealed any major interface changes so far. The update appears centered on stability and refinements.

Apple has not published detailed release notes outlining specific fixes for today's builds. We are installing both updates now and will report back if any notable changes are discovered.

Developers can download the new software from the Software Update section in Settings on their respective devices. Apple Watch updates must be initiated through the Watch app on a paired iPhone.

Apple has also announced the release of tvOS 26.4 beta 3 (23L5224d) to developers for testing.
