Stefan Magdalinsk not only bought his wife an iPad for her birthday but coated it in chocolate and shipped it to South Africa to surprise her.
An iPad was inevitable for her birthday, but I knew that if I just delivered a wrapped box, there wouldnt be much of a surprise. Wheres the fun in that? So I rang my friends James and Paul, who happens to run the finest chocolate shop in London, and said Could you freeze an iPad in chocolate carbonite, and have it survive?. They werent sure, but were willing to give it a go.

...big deal, we did something similar for a friend using a PSP...I guess from now on ppl should make fanfare of the way they present their gifts, free publicity for the companies and extra coolaid for fanboys everywhere....

It's obvious that the iPad was wrapped with something first so that the chocolate wont ruin it, probably wrapped in wax paper.
