Apple has seeded the Release Candidate builds of watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6, and HomePod Software 26.6 to developers for testing.



The updates carry build numbers 23U67 for watchOS, 23L772 for tvOS and HomePod Software, and 23O770 for visionOS. They arrive alongside the Release Candidates for iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, signaling the end of the current testing cycle just ahead of a broader public launch.


Apple rarely publishes detailed release notes for these specific platforms this late in a software cycle. Much like the companion iOS release, these updates are expected to focus heavily on under-the-hood maintenance, security patches, and overall system stability. The aim of the 26.6 branch is to ensure existing hardware runs smoothly as the company transitions its engineering resources toward the next-generation operating systems arriving this fall.

Registered developers and beta testers can download the new software directly through the Software Update section in the Settings app on their respective devices. Installing the watchOS update requires using the companion Watch app on a paired iPhone with sufficient battery life.
