Apple has seeded the sixth developer betas of watchOS 27, visionOS 27, tvOS 27, and HomePod Software 27 as the company continues testing its next-generation platforms ahead of a public release this fall.
The new test builds arrive just a week after the fifth round of betas rolled out to the developer channel. Today's releases carry build numbers 24R5353a for watchOS, 24M5355a for visionOS, and 24J5353b for both tvOS and HomePod Software.
For the Apple Watch, the watchOS 27 cycle introduces a dynamic app grid, a unified Find My application, and new wrist-flick gestures. The update also lays the groundwork for Apple's upcoming Siri AI experience, a transition that recently led the company to narrow hardware compatibility and drop support for several older models. On the headset side, visionOS 27 brings Apple Intelligence to Apple Vision Pro with a 3D Siri visualization and Visual Intelligence capabilities that allow the assistant to understand active app windows and a user's physical surroundings.
In the living room, tvOS 27 brings a completely redesigned Podcasts app to the Apple TV, along with a more responsive Control Center and improved AirPlay reliability. The companion HomePod software update appears focused primarily on underlying system stability to keep Apple's smart speakers running smoothly alongside the broader ecosystem changes.
Registered developers can download the new software directly through the Software Update section in the Settings app on their respective devices. Installing the watchOS update requires using the companion Watch app on a paired iPhone with sufficient battery life.
