Will this work even if I use iTunes 9.1.1? I don't want to update because I'm also jailbreaking 3.0 - 3.1 models.

Hey! Uh, quick question, well, two questions: 1) How can I restore the home screen to the black background it had. 2) The Clock and Calculator app logos decided not to show up, so, all that's there is an empty white. Any way I can fix that? Alright, other than that everything seems to be running smoothly. Thanks

Hi, with all the steps and resources here, my iPod Touch still couldn't update to 4.0, iTunes keeps prompting me an error message.

btw, problem solved. i looked up the apple support and found that the error messages that i got are all related to usb. i unplugged my tablet, and things run smooth. thanks iclarified for the guide, which works.
