Apple Seeds watchOS 27 RC to Developers [Download]

Apple has seeded the release candidate of watchOS 27 to developers for testing. The build number is 24R363.

watchOS 27 features the next generation of Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, updates to Workout Buddy, a new tap gesture, a dynamic app grid to make it easier to access your most used apps, and improvements that make watchOS 27 more responsive and delightful to use. Siri AI is an entirely new version of Siri that is more intelligent, knowledgeable, and capable. With improvements that span areas like fitness, design, performance, and more, the experience on watchOS 27 has been refined and elevated, so it feels even better to use.

Registered developers can install the update using the Watch app on a paired iPhone. Go to My Watch > General > Software Update and select the watchOS Developer Beta under Beta Updates. The watch must have at least 50 percent battery and remain on its charger during installation.

Apple will release watchOS 27 to all users on September 14, 2026.
