Apple Releases iOS 27.0.1, iPadOS 27.0.1, and 26.7.1 Updates [Download]

Apple has released iOS 27.0.1 and iPadOS 27.0.1, alongside iOS 26.7.1 and iPadOS 26.7.1. The iPhone update addresses unexpected restarts on iPhone 18 Pro models, a camera artifact, and an issue that could leave the touchscreen unresponsive.

Apple's iOS 27.0.1 release notes say iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could unexpectedly restart when Face ID failed to authenticate. Apple had said a fix was coming for the problem. A small number of those devices could also show a color artifact in photos captured at 2x under certain lighting conditions at f/1.48. The update fixes a separate issue in which opening Notification Center and Control Center at the same time could make the touchscreen unresponsive.

iOS 27.0.1 and iPadOS 27.0.1 share build 24A446. The iOS 26.7.1 and iPadOS 26.7.1 updates share build 23H30. Apple released iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 two weeks ago.
