During their earnings call today, HP responded to a question about whether tablets were hurting netbook sales by confirming the release of "a webOS-based product in early 2011".
This timeline was already mentioned by Personal Systems Group VP Todd Bradley during an all-hands employee meeting August 9th; however, this is the first public announcement. The project is reportedly called "Hurricane."
I cant wait. Im going to save up my money. Im sure it will blow the ipad away with its new and better features. Im sure its app store will cause apple to throw in the towel. The suspense is killing me. I better buy all the HP stock I can get my hands on.
This is the turning point Ive been waiting for.
