News Corp Says Tablet-Only Publication is Coming Soon

News Corp has announced that they will soon be unveiling a tablet-only publication for devices such as the iPad, according to a Reuters report.

"It's a tablet-only product and it's very exciting," James Murdoch, head of the media group's operations in Europe and Asia, told journalists at an investor conference in Spain. "You'll hear more about that soon."


"The tablet in general, it lends itself to a type of journalism that is really new," Murdoch said. "These really are becoming our flagship products, even though they're very much in their infancy," he said.

Murdoch said the publication would largely be a U.S. product.
