LockGestures is a Cydia tweak by Akhil Tolani that lets you perform actions by making gestures on the Lockscreen of your iOS device. For example, you can set the tweak to play/pause music, launch apps, quickly call anyone, unlock, go to the next/previous song, and more.
With LockGestures you can perform your favorite actions by just performing gestures like double tapping on the lockscreen, pinch on the lockscreen like you do to zoom webpages & pictures, swipe upwards with one finger, swipe down/left/right, & many more gestures.
For example you want to launch iPod or any other favorite app & you have selected two finger tap. all you need to do is tap once with two fingers anywhere on the Lockscreen & you will **directly** get to your iPod app (if you have a password it will ask for it then directly take you to iPod..) OR you want increase your brightness and you have selected one finger swipe up.. all you have to do is swipe upwards with one finger anywhere on lockscreen & your brightness will increase
You can set your gestures and corresponding actions in the Settings app. LockGestures is available from the Cydia Store for $1.00.
After buying this, the problem, and regret, I see with the tweakmis that you can only assign one single user application to the tweaks database. That means al the cool gesture settings can only be mapped to that one app opening. You can opt tonassign the gestures to built in 'actions' which is nice, but there have been programs on the past to do similar.. The concept of this program is awesome if they can just develop a way to sign a unique 'application' launch to each offered gesture then it would be worth 5x the asking price.
