Pod2g has announced the discovery of a bug that can untether the iOS 5 jailbreak!
Hey jailbreaking friends, I've found a bug that can untether iOS 5. Don't expect a release soon, but I'm gonna work hard in it.
Pod2g has been behind the discovery of numerous other vulnerabilities including SHAtter.
We'll keep you up to date with pod2g's progress on the untethered jailbreak of iOS 5. You can follow us on Twitter or Facebook for instant notifications.
Loooool ur funny dude. Forget new unlocks there are unlocked iPhones being sold in apple stores. Don't you read my posts. I posted 14months ago dev team is working with apple trust me guys no NEW unlocks and everybody laughed at me the lord and behold 5months after I said that apple started selling unlocked iPhones in USA and what you know dev team stopped talking about their new unlocks and NCK force that they promised everyone they had.
Good News; hopefully we will get an early Christmas Present. I honestly think it's a good idea to wait for at least the first round of patches on the IOS5 before releasing any fixes. People soon forget that with these jailbreaks, we also need the proper back end tools for support ie. TinyUmbrella, for SHSH backups a method for keeping the baseband etc. I'm glad to hear there is hope. :)
