Mine blinked yellow too, however if you ignore the color of the light, the procedure works!

I am trying to do a factory default reset but it only rapidly flashes yellow like in the two methods (soft and hard resets) described above. Is there a fix for an Airport Express (model A1264) that will not factory reset?
