Igayified is so right, but I also know that taller iPhone is not coming out. Just like the last predictions on the iPhone 4s we all spected more.

Well, I've seen worse, that's for sure. âââ
Think about what's needed on the INSIDE ... Additional radios for T-Mobile LTE in the U.S. possibly LTE for other countries other new goodies (bigger/better cameras, NFC, something-new-and-exciting) MORE battery to supply all those new in-erds. âââ
Think about what's needed on the OUTSIDE ... Keeping the phone width such that not only my big hands can operate easily one-handed, but also allows the majority of the world population to also operate one-handed Making it thinner a better screen for watching wide-screen video a larger screen that won't over-tax developers a screen that won't bring up a whole debate about PPI

Apple has only given us tiny improvements over the years because the majority Apple users(not you retards below) will buy it and appreciate even the smallest of improvements just so we can be the first to brag that we've got the latest and greatest apple product. Most would not be surprised if all they did was give us the A5X processor and .5 inches of screen if you're smart you'd understand that Apple doesn't want to give us all that much if they don't have to. They haven't since the first iPhone. They'll give us exactly enough to justify an upgrade.

I refuse to believe that apples "ground breaking" 2 years in development is merely a taller iPhone 4.. If apple releases that as the iPhone 5 I'll be disappointed.. Even the designer at apple said this is his best creation to date.. So these mockups dont make things too promising

Jobs was correct about the current ratio and size of the iPhone being proper ("perfect" is hyperbolic though). This rumored design is just awkward.

Why do we even comment on these things? No one knows what it looks like yet, its an ugly mock up of another rumor. Why cant these nuts just wait till the release pack comes out and then we can comment on the real deal?

Wow - thats one ugly phone. Why couldnt apple just keep the size of the phone same but extend the screen closer to edges - getting it a bit bigger if you really want bigger screens... one consept designs was also edgeless iPhone so following the same trends with LCDTVs - the size stays same but frames gets thinner and thinner util there are none... just a hairline perhaps. Just thinking...

I hope this is all sooo wrong, the screen needs to be *much* bigger these days. Larger Android phones still fit in pockets just fine.

It looks ugly. The perfect size phone(and I can say from experience since I've had every iPhone and android upto the Dell Streak is the HTC Desire.) I'm not saying its the perfect phone.... I'm saying it's dimensions are perfect for pockets, one hand use of texting, talking and pics. It's not to thick, not to tall, and still contains a 4.3" screen. Now if apple fanboys get this, we will be stuck with this long candy bar shaped iPhone for 2-3 years min. Apple changes the game but is always as far behind as they are up to date!

Well I guess apple will "perfect" the whole phone+tablet idea.

Im pretty sure if Apple did increase the height of the screen, they'd decrease the black borders for the speaker and home button so it won't be much bigger than a iPhone 4. iPhone is the perfect size to fit in your pocket and use as a mobile phone. They'd make the home button smaller too or just use the square in the home button as the full button. I'd toss in a led notification into the home button aswell.
Now apps will have to be recoded to fit the entire screen especially games as you can't just stretch them whereas you can get away with apps that scroll like Tweetbot, Facebook etc You'll just see more info and wont have to scroll as much.

I agree. I really hope apple doesn't increase the size of the phone itself but the screen by removing the black borders.

In my opinion that looks horrible. That's something an android phone maker does. No way is apple gonna keep the same form factor and just extend the screen up. I bet they widen and extend it a bit and have a totally new form factor and look and maybe a edge to edge screen.
