Forbes is suggesting that Apple may have been the source behind recent reports of an iWatch.
Rumors about what’s ahead usually originate in Asia from checks with Apple suppliers, but recent rumors about iWatch were a departure from the past. They did not appear as usual in Asia but almost simultaneously in the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. The information on iWatch in the two venerable publications came just before Apple CEO Tim Cook was to speak at Goldman Sachs Technology conference.
Bloomberg reported that Apple has a team of 100 designers working on the watch likely led by senior director of engineering, James Foster, and another executive.
The New York Times reported that Apple is experimenting with wristwatch-like devices made of curved glass.
Forbes suggests that perhaps Apple leaked the story to give weight to Tim Cook's statement at the Goldman Sachs Conference that innovation has never been stronger at Apple, or perhaps because they found out that Samsung has a smartwatch of its own on the way.

Because while the PP is an investment or a show-off, it does not do anything else.

i was one of those that did buy the Nano, put a wrist band to it, and had the coolest watch, no wifi, no bluetooth, so what? had my music for jogging, my pics, and best of all, i had a watch that i could use for READING THE TIME! got 2 more, and a bot7 or 8 different bands, silicone, aluminum, rubber.. and each time i change them, i have the coolest watch

Why wouldn't they. Doesn't every company leak their own stuff. Come on. It's the ugliest thing ever.

Just like everybody that said the iPhone was stupid, would fail and know one would end up buying it? Those same people are the ones using and praising it today. not everyone will end up buying it if it eventually comes out but it's still gonna sell in the millions of units.
