Components for the next generation iPhone will reportedly start shipping at the end of May, reports DigiTimes. The site says the new device could be ready for launch in the third quarter of 2013.
The new iPhone will not receive a major upgrade and may just be a slightly enhanced version of iPhone 5 (iPhone 5S), the sources said citing their latest specification data. Meanwhile, there are also rumors stating that Apple also plans to release an iPhone model using plastic chassis to push its global smartphone market share, the sources added.
The sources say the device will feature a higher-end processor as well as a camera with more megapixels. If components are shipped smoothly, manufacturers should be able to deliver assembled devices to retailers about 1-2 weeks later.

If the 5S only has a better camera and processor that'll be pretty lame. Considering what Samsung has now Apple needs to step up their game.

Faster processor ---> unnecessary (good, but unnecessary); better camera ---> good, but unnecessary; it has GOT to be more than just that. iOS 7 better KICK a$$ or I'm looking at the HTC One, although I still don't like Android too much, but it's getting better.

but i don't agree..if Apple wants to hold a match with the other company it will
send phone with lower option.
Apple always send a phone and see what do other company do and after that
send another generation of its device with the upper option.
so i think we have to wait for new generation of iPhone:)
