A photo allegedly depicting a rear shell for the iPad 5 has been leaked online by Tactus. The same site recently posted case photos also alleging to be from Apple's upcoming tablet which appears to have a design similar to the iPad mini.
We believe the new iPad 5 might contain the rumoured A7X chip and will retain its 9.7 inch screen size, just with much thinner bezels. So far it seems to be everything I was hoping for! ... Apple are finally supposed to be using IGZO displays with their retina resolution screen, which means a thinner iPad is definitely on the cards. IGZO displays use up to 90% less power than previous generation iPad displays, which means a smaller battery that reduces the overall weight and thickness. So much more portable and convenient!
The post continues to speculate the iPad 5 will be 7.2mm thick, feature a 8MP rear facing camera, and storage options up to 128GB.

No leave the same size battery and get the IGZO display which uses 90% less energy = a no brainer and possibly 17-18 hrs of life.

Big mistake if they reduce battery. Juice is what always is scarce. They should keep the battery so it would last longer. It's like improving fuel efficiency in a car but reducing the tank size, please !!!!
