Over the weekend, AllThingsD reported that Apple will be holding an iPhone focused event on September 10th where it is expected to announce the iPhone 5S and budget iPhone 5C devices.
Today, The Loop's Jim Dalrymple has confirmed the event with his simple "Yep" post.
While AllThingsD has an excellent track record, Jim Dalrymple is very well connected with Apple, and on many occasions either confirms ("Yep") or refutes ("Nope") any particular rumors with his one word posts with 100% accuracy.
Official media invitations will likely be sent out one week prior to the event...
