Photos have leaked online that allegedly show the retail packaging for the plastic iPhone 5C. The photos were posted to iApps.im and Weibo.
MacRumors notes that the packaging pictured corroborates a leaked image from July that showed the iPhone 5C moniker.
The paper included in the packaging also appearing to match the shape of the plastic shell. The shape of the device also pictured appears to match a photo last month of various iPhone 5C devices being tested at a Pegatron factory, a notable supplier to Apple.
Apple is expected to unveil the device alongside the iPhone 5S on September 10th.

Calm down, fella! I agree with you several points here. This web site should be all about Apple, but we should have an open mind and that makes the competition better. First of all, we're all different, your hands might be smaller or bigger than the others'. So respect other people's opinions as they'll respect yours. And that's why other people said that Apple should make 2 different sizes iphones instead of making a cheaper iphone: different sizes for different people and there won't be any argument too big or too small. Secondly, I agree: what more features do we want in a cell phone? Like Steve Jobs said, don't let the consumers tell us what they want, let's us tell them what they want, what they're missing. That's why he's a genius! I bet you haven't used S4, HTC One, Moto X, Web OS, or Windows 8 phones and that's why you made a statement "Apple makes quality devices that last and are far superior to any Samsung/Android/Nokia/etc."
Nothing is perfect and the best in this world!
Please go back and re-read my comment. I work at a cell phone store so yes I have proof sir. Please have a seat before you call someone a "big liar". Also what say so does CNET have on Apples decision making? .... None, exactly so that article that you read is irrelevant. CNET isnt worth a 16th of what Apple is worth so try again with your "proof" that people want a bigger phone. SOME people who have nothing else to do with their time but watch movies, play games, and show off cool tricks that their phone can do would like a bigger phone but the educated people who use their cell phone as a cell phone and not a PS3/Plasma TV/Nintendo DS dont want a bigger cell phone, they just want something that is superior to other phones that works and gets the job done. Again I ask you to have a seat as your opinion doesnt matter in this situation.
Anybody have any idea how much it's gonna be? My guess that it would be $400/unsubsidized . Would this be a good price? As for me, I don't want a cheap iphone, and if the rumors are true, the new 5s is not much better either. I'd rather wait for the iphone 6 when it will be not only better but also bigger (hopefully). Or depend on what Samsung has for their Note 3, I'll switch to android phone. We'll wait until Sept. 4 to find out.
If it's $200, I would jump with joy! I don't think it's even $300! You know why? First of all, even though it'll be called "low cost", I don't think Apple is that cheap. Secondly, the ipod touch is already $300 so I don't think Apple will make the iphone 5C $300 (even though it's 16G) If it's $200, most likely, it'll have no retina display and no siri. I don't use siri that much so let's hope Apple will keep retina display and make it $300 and I'll be content.
Just had a text back and forth with the iclarified and they have you IP address and comes Tuesday when IT staff is in they will discus the next step pertaining about your disruptive service.
This will sell like hot cakes. It'll outsell Samsung's latest Galaxy phone. And because it is plastic AND better selling, it will trash the Galaxy prices as being too expensive, thereby lowering the Galaxy phones' values. That's why Samsung has to come up with metal phones. Otherwise people are just going to compare their top of the line with Apple's lowest range phones.
Hey Steve. Read the previous comment again. The person commenting wasn't saying galaxy's are better in anyway. They were defending the new low cost iPhone and apple. saying how they're going to sell good and devalue the cheaply made, so called "high end" galaxies. Please Read the comments thoroughly before you jump to conclusions and go on a rant. Thanks
Can anyone think of a reason why some of the boxes (mainly the ones containing a yellow phone) are not as thick as the others? Any reason why some would have less accessories in the box?
Was thinking that myself when I first saw it. It could possibly be the angle the photo was taken at. Or it could be two different types of test packaging. Guess we'll see in a few weeks.
Or it could possibly be for phones going to different countries. It could be because the AC adapters for different countries are different sizes. Just an idea.
It looks like iPod touch packaging.. I agree.. first thing I noticed was that the depth is more shallow than other iPhones. will they even be able to fit a proper charger? Also, is the 10th September the day the phone goes on sale, or is officially announced and official pictures shown? x
