No point for these updates/services until they start serving as some kind of proxy for countries outside US. While I understand the dominant positioning of Apple towards the US market, they should consider providing (let's say) Netflix to other users... (hmm for example outside_US_itunes_store). Hey it's just an idea.

I can get Netflix in the UK on my Apple TV UK iTunes account, but have it configured for the US Netflix as it has over 10000 more movies.

I get all these channels and live in Taiwan - I just use a VPN like unotelly or unblock-us. I love getting NHL and NFL channels and ESPN. Works like a charm.

Nope bit if you change the network DNS setting to 109.123.111.024 then Change the iTunes Store to US you will be able to get the Chanel's. Also it will allow you to play US Netflix content with a UK account. Some Chanel's require a US cable subscription but others work fine.

does that DNS require you to buy proxy service subscription, or will it work as is?
