Images have leaked online allegedly showing a bezel-less front glass panel for the iPhone 6, reports Nowhereelse. They briefly appeared on Sina Weibo before being deleted.
Recently, the Korea Herald revealed that Apple was testing a prototype iPhone with a 'bezel-free' display. This would allow Apple to release a larger display, as is widely expected, while minimizing the overall size of the device.
The leaked panel does have a larger display size; however, the Home button is not perfectly centered in vertical direction, making it's authenticity questionable.
Although these images did not visibly touched and their quality is quite acceptable, it would have been quite easy for the author of these photos to scrape the black layer on the glass panel to delineate the borders of the and display, in order to increase the size of fictitiously latter... Besides the fact that the hole in which the back button to home would slip is not perfectly centered in the height direction puzzled me...
To see what a side bezel-free display would like, check out this iPhone 6 concept.

The home button isn't perfectly round. It's egg-shaped and there are a great deal of suspicious smudges and scratches round the hole, as if it was sanded. I highly doubt this is real, and the quantity of scratches on it smacks of plastic, not glass.
The curve of the piece does not appear consistent either. The bottom right corner in the second picture seems to start to curving even before it reaches the correct location of the corner.
The earpiece slot shows white edges, which is also indicative of plastic, as blackened glass has none of those effects, as evidenced in the other two pieces.

The truth is scraped paint from an iPhone 5 front glass lens.

It's not Photoshop. Get 3 screen protections (4S and 2 5 or 5S) and a black tape. Do the magic then take their pictures with a camera phone from 17th century. Upload them with a shiny title. Ta-daa.

This looks unfinished. The home button has a gap where the display is and the display is literally at the edge of both sides.

Haha omg so fake, I was able to replicate this in about 5 minutes. It's just paint scratched off a front glass lens for an iPhone 5. Here's my attempt ! http://i.imgur.com/w4r33Lh.jpg

I know one thing, it's long past due to get rid of those massive spaces on top and button of the screen. Everybody else past that point long ago. Check out HTC Aria , it's like 5 years old phone, has all the futures like iphone, including GPS, and front is pritty much all screen. Had it for a while and loved it cuz of it compact size. At that time I wish I could run iOS on it though.

I was hoping for a bigger screen than this.....

gamerscul9870 - March 3, 2014 at 3:01am
It says 'prototype' in the description, plus, this isn't one of the 3 sizes it looks like, it was said to be 4.7", 4.8", and 5.5"

pkmaximum - March 3, 2014 at 3:02am
I hope so, because that would be pretty disappointing.

Teepzo - March 3, 2014 at 4:53am
Yea maybe it wraps around the edges, so you can get a bigger screen... LOL

gamerscul9870 - March 3, 2014 at 4:55am
Or be HTC related. Not entirely though.

Actually, to me, the offset button makes it more likely to be real - when assembled so that the display area is black, too, there's no reason for a gap between the home button and the screen, especially w/the ring surrounding the newer fingerprint-reading button. It won't look odd once it's all together.

The dimensions of the home button/Touch ID sensor extend outward in a square shape in order to prevent the home button from falling out from the glass. Furthermore, there is an adhesive rubber gasket that cradles the entire home button assembly and fastens it to the screen. This is why an offset home-button like this is not plausible. The picture is a hoax
