O2 has informed customers that they will need to pay an early upgrade fee if they wish to upgrade from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 3G S.

You will need to pay extra to end your contract
You can upgrade early but you will need to pay to end your existing contract
The early upgrade cost is likely to be monthly cost x months left on your cotract, but specifics may vary slightly
One last clarification: You will need to pay to end your contract if you want to upgrade early. See you all tomorrow!

The iPhone 3GS 16Gb will cost up to £184.98 depending on which tariff you take - the 32Gb up to £274.23.
The highest prices are on the 18month £29.38 and £34.26 tariffs - full details will be on the site soon
We won't be offering preorders but you can pick them up on the day
If you're able to upgrade early as part of Priority List then you don't need to pay to end the contract
