iWatch Production Delayed Until Q4?

Posted July 29, 2014 at 3:50pm by iClarified
A report from Taiwan's United Daily News suggests that production of the rumored iWatch has been delayed until Q4.

GforGames relays that report which notes that during a recent TPK conference, the company said that even though they were expecting an extremely profitable third quarter, things are not looking great. TPK is rumored to be supplier of next-gen touch sensors for the iWatch. It's technology replaces indium tin oxide with silver nanowire ink enabling the use of sapphire glass displays without extra sensors.

TPK now expects a large increase in profiles during Q4 2014 which corroborates reports that the production of the iWatch has been delayed until then.

KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo recently said the iWatch won't enter production until late November. He'd previously predicted that the device would enter mass production in late September.

“We have pushed back our estimated time of iWatch mass production from late-September to mid-/ late- November. We also lower our forecast of iWatch 2014 shipments by 40% to 3mn units,” Kuo wrote.

The most recent predictions have the iWatch launching alongside the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 in December. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

When will people give other products a chance and stop wasting their time with Apple and their useless time frame of products. This is before and after products are made.

That's good stuff. So using your logic, iphones are still in beta since they won't last a day with a full charge. #Wallhuggers
