Photos allegedly of a leaked Samsung Galaxy S6 chassis have surfaced online and it looks a lot like the iPhone 6.
The photos arrive after a Korea Times report that said Samsung would unveil the new device at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in Spain next month and that it would 'look a lot like Apple's iPhone 6'.
"The Galaxy S6 will make its debut in two versions ― flat and rounded screens," said an executive at a local parts supplier, Tuesday. "It will have a metal build, which will make it look even more like Apple's latest models."
Nowhereelse.fr has got a hold of a supposed chassis and as you can see in the photos below it definitely resembles the iPhone 6. The metal chassis features rounded sides, the same headphone jack, speaker, and cable connector placement, similar antenna breaks but on the bottom and top instead of the left and right sides, and nearly the exact same button and SIM card tray placement.
The site also notes that the S6 is said to have a Super AMOLED screen measuring approximately 5 inches diagonally with a resolution of 2560x1440px, a 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor with eight cores, 3GB of RAM, a 20MP camera with a 5MP front camera, a new fingerprint scanner, a heart rate sensor, and possibly a mobile payment system.
Pricing is said to be around €749 (32GB), €849 (64GB) and €949 (128GB). The Galaxy S Edge is said to cost around €100 more at € 849 (32GB), € 949 (64GB) and € 1,049 (128GB).

Automobile chassis look like each other too!
Nobody is calling each other copying like Samsung and Apple.

What about the wheels, button organization, seat style, car shape, motor style under the hood, etc.?

All very similar. Not exactly the same. Most are in similar locations.
Samsung is not exactly the same as Apple and Apple is not exactly the same as Samsung.

My point is with copying, it's how a close resemblance and how a product work like something one would knockoff for example, and that says a lot about how one catches up to another. Cars on the other hand have their own ways in 100s of combinations from material and style to features and functionality.

Did Samsung knockoff? Because knockoff means a copy and imitation to be exactly the same.
Apple did not invent everything they made. So they are bound to have copied something as well. Same as Samsung.

There are reports discussing how the iPhone 6 features were compared to the Nexus 4, and lists showing features Apple adopted from other sources.

I am not saying they are not copying. What I meant was copying to be similar, not exact is been going on for centuries. Of course knockoff is something else. It's how we improve ourselves... without that imaging how the world will be now. Monopolies everywhere.

Look at all the lawsuit Apple won from Samsung. They're all here.

Critics have pointed out things Apple adopted from competitors for iOS 7 as well. Of course I can find things Samsung copied as well.

Would you rather live in a monopolized world where companies can set gouge-able price and are limited to their innovations and cannot copy or make similar to any other phones and innovations that are proven to work?
How will the phones look like?
Square, round, oval?

gamerscul9870 - February 28, 2015 at 3:48am
Monopolized. Limited innovation you ask? For limited time, yes.

My point is that most companies copies... that is been going on for a while and it's commonly unavoidable. So copy or not, if a phone works for you then that's all.

He obv works in a factory where that is made so he had to shot it in the toilet so no one spots him/her.Security measures disallow to take it out of factory so that was the only way.

s6 copy of iPhone 6 which is a copy of other android phablets before which is a copy of.. blah blah copy of the ten commandments on a stone. this is click bait title of course. how many way can you design a smartphone. seriously, it's not even the whole phone. just the chassis and hey, the lines are they not for aesthetics. apple puts it there because it needs to be there for function. metal isn't good for reception. that's like saying hey you copied me, you have wheels on your car too. well duh. the difference will be the screen display. apple has HUGE bezels so the phone is bigger with less screen real estate. I'm quite happy with my 6plus but call this a copy is just ridiculous. it's like flashlight makers call each other copies because it's a metal tube. what will differentiate samsung in the future is their integration of the curved screen on the "edge". i'm looking for to it and the eventual integration into an iPhone later down the line as it becomes mainstream. i honestly hope samsung remains a competitor. i feel apple is a little bit safe and lazy now and i'm quite happy with my apple ecosystem. i want better products in the future as a consumer so i hope the s6 is a good phone in some way.

Manuel1775 - February 4, 2015 at 5:24pm
You mean like Prada copied Palm and Palm, an offshoot of Apple's Newton device (the precursor to the iPhone, itself a company created by former Apple Newton engineers, you mean THAT copying. I see now. Makes perfect sense!!! Lack of historical knowledge is a pretty dangerous thing proven perfectly in this comment! But you knew the actual history of the entire thing of course!

It's still hard to believe how they completely ripped off the iPhone 6. Next big thing lol. It's been here a few months already Samsung.

i don't think that is a true story. This looks like a regular iphone 6 to me and someone is trying to show as if it was a samsung.
