Apple has announced that iOS 8 adoption has reached 75% as measured by the App Store on March 2nd. That's an increase of 3% from February 2nd.
iOS 8.x adoption has been increasing slowly but steadily. Apple is expected to release iOS 8.2 within the next week and iOS 8.3 has already been seeded to developers for testing.

Thats because Apple is forcing it on its users.. What choice do users have when their iOS device is broken and needs a restore .

They had their chance to downgrade. Maybe most of these users are now looking forward to ios 8.2

Not sure i would call "no choice if you have to reset you phone" adoption. Better headline - Apple forces ios 8 to 75% of users.
