Apple has announced that Apple Pay will launch in the U.K. next month and starting this fall Discover cards will be supported.
Apple Pay will launch across the United Kingdom this July. By this fall, Apple Pay will work with nearly 70% of credit and debit cards in the UK. Over 250,000 locations across the United Kingdom, including some of its top brands, are ready to accept Apple Pay.
Notably, the company also announced that with iOS 9, you can add your favorite retail store cards to Apple Pay. You can also add reward cards to Apple Pay, so you can easily earn and redeem rewards.
Apple has also announced that it is renaming the Passbook app to 'Wallet'.
